Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson star in this action thriller directed by Renny Harlin. School teacher Samantha Caine (Davis) has no memory of her life before she was found washed up on a beach eight years previously.

Mitch Henessey (Jackson) is the latest private investigator she has hired to help uncover the truth about her identity but when she begins demonstrating expert combat skills, she fears for the safety of her boyfriend and daughter. As she embarks on a quest with Mitch to discover the truth about her past, they soon realise that she has many powerful and dangerous enemies. The cast also includes Craig Bierko, Brian Cox and David Morse.
